High-clearance solar for Oregon cattle ranching community
We are working with a 12,000-acre cattle ranch in Eagle Point, Oregon, on a 120kW net-meter ‘ground mount’ solar project that will reduce the ranches electricity costs while also providing shelter to its herds. Utility costs are fixed for 20 years with no inflation.
The project is also the first bankable, commercialization of RUTE SunTracker, a high-clearance agrivoltaic solar tracking solution designed for, among other things, cattle and other livestock pastures.
