Patented, low-voltage, self-regulating radiant heating solution

After purchasing STEPHeat, including its assets, IP, and underlying technologies, PlanitWorks gave the company a modern new brand identity (StableHeat), relocated to a larger St. Louis factory, and set to work rebuilding , refitting, and relaunching the business for an increasingly energy-hungry nation.

Launched in Norway more than 30 years ago, StableHeat is a differentiated radiant heating platform supported by U.S. and European patents. StableHeat’s technology represents a dramatic evolutionary leap in the way heat is delivered in businesses, homes, marine vessels and even RVs. One of our goals is to move U.S. adoption of radiant heat to the higher levels found in Europe and other parts of the world.

Recent Project

High-clearance solar for Oregon cattle ranching community

Working with our partner, RUTE SunTracker, we created a new joint agrivoltaic company – SunRancherUSA – and invested in a 120kW net-meter ground-mounted, high-clearance solar project on a 12,000-acre cattle ranch in Eagle Point, Oregon. The 13-foot-tall installation reduces the ranch’s electricity costs, preserves and protects operations below the panels, and even reduces evaporation rates, thereby improving the quality of the land below and its grazing grasses.

This served as the first bankable, commercialization of the RUTE SunTracker solar tracking solution, which we believe is ideally suited to transform hundreds of thousands of acres of ranch land into power generation assets.
