Stuart Revo has decades of experience on sophisticated legal and business matters as an entrepreneur and legal counselor to companies and their owners, in a diverse range of industries and countries. He has been an active member of the business sections of the New York and Vermont Bars.

Admitted to the practice of law in New York in 1974, he is believed to be the first American lawyer to practice with a private Middle Eastern law firm. Mr. Revo was an Associate with Al-Essa and Abu Zayyad in Kuwait City, Kuwait from 1976-1979. At the time, the firm was the largest in the Arab Gulf. As a young, English-speaking attorney, Mr. Revo was entrusted with primary responsibility for billion- dollar contracts by American companies in the joint venture and regional expansion setting.

During this period, Mr. Revo gained valuable and extensive experience in drafting, advising and negotiating large investment, joint venture and technology transfer agreements of all types, (particularly finance, banking, construction, and engineering) between American or European companies and their local Kuwaiti partners, or between such companies and the Government. He represented Government investment companies, commercial banks, Kuwaiti merchant families and foreign industrial and commercial concerns (including Bechtel’s expansion into the Middle East). He also advised Gulf Computing Services, a pioneering, regional (American-owned) computer hardware reseller, software developer and consultancy throughout the Arab Gulf.

After leaving Kuwait, Mr. Revo built upon his Middle Eastern experience and began a successful two decades as a young entrepreneur. He was Managing Director, Sunbelt Oil Co. N.V.  Bonaire, in the Netherlands Antilles from 1980-1985. He negotiated purchase and trading contracts for this consortium, which made history by becoming the first small, independent refiners to purchase oil by long term contract directly from a Government National Oil Company (NOC), rather than from a (third party) major oil company.

Mr. Revo was Chairman of Buffalo Brothers Baseball Corp. from 1990-1995, and the Principal Owner or President of five different minor league baseball teams at every level of organized professional baseball. He was also the Managing Partner of Baseball America Television, which broadcast the first AAA “Stars of the Future” All Star Game on ESPN in 1988. In 1990, Mr. Revo sold his baseball interests to a group of investors, led by Yankees’
limited partner Marvin Goldklang and comedian Bill Murray.

Mr. Revo was President and CEO of CPC America, Ltd. in Tampa, Florida from 1991-1993.He managed this member of the China Products Corp. group of companies engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of small, electrical appliances. The company produced
these in South China for resale to Remington and other companies in the U.S. and UK. Mr. Revo negotiated directly with the factory in China, as well as with other suppliers in Hong Kong. The Group was owned and controlled primarily by Kuwaiti companies and individuals.

Mr. Revo was Special Counsel to the late Victor Kiam in New York City and Stamford, CT, from 1994 through 1996. He acted as special counsel and legal advisor to Mr. Kiam and Remington Products in establishing wholesale distribution networks in PRC for branded American products, including Pepsi and Valvoline. Mr. Revo then returned overseas, managing the Oman country office of Inter Arab Management, an Overseas Private Investment Corp. sponsored private equity fund. In that capacity, he had primary responsibility for all the business and affairs of the operation, including identifying local investors and seeding projects such as specialty chemicals, desert agriculture and fish farming.

Mr. Revo returned to America in 1998, so that his youngest son, Joel, could be born and raised there. In 2000, the family moved to Southern Vermont, so that Joel could be raised in that healthy and idyllic place. In most recent years, Mr. Revo has practiced law full time in both New York and Vermont. Mr. Revo has extensive experience counseling companies, their owners and investors with contract, financing, corporate, intellectual property, and litigation
matters. He was also the Co-Founder and a Board member of Chesapeake Apothecary, LLC, a large cannabis dispensary in Southern Maryland from 2015-2020.

He is a past Treasurer and Board Member of the Israel Congregation of Manchester and was active on the Board of Manchester Youth baseball during Joel’s youth baseball years. In the past few years, Mr. Revo has represented a diverse group of clients in the manufacturing, entrepreneurial, construction and social impact spaces, nurturing the growth of pre-revenue startups and representing later stage small and mid-size companies looking to continue growing or exit profitably.
